Breakers fail at the moment of fault — exactly when you need them. Our service program keeps every ACB trip-ready.
At Tajalli Tech, we provide comprehensive maintenance, servicing and testing of air circuit breakers of all major makes, carried out on-site or at our workshop. Our engineers treat the breaker both as a mechanism and as a protective device, ensuring it will operate reliably under fault conditions. Each service includes cleaning and re-lubrication of the mechanism, inspection of the arc chutes, a spring-charge motor check, and measurement of contact resistance, timing and insulation resistance. The trip unit is then verified by secondary injection to confirm that it operates correctly at its set current, in accordance with IEC 60947-2.
On completion, you receive a detailed per-pole report documenting contact resistance measured by four-wire DLRO, open, close and trip timing, insulation resistance pole-to-pole and pole-to-earth, and the injected trip-unit results checked against the relay setting. Readings are recorded before and after service and prepared in accordance with applicable IS/IEC standards, with any out-of-tolerance values clearly identified for corrective action.
Both options are available. Routine servicing and secondary injection are generally carried out on-site during a planned shutdown, while a seized mechanism or contact overhaul is often better completed on the bench. We undertake this work for all major makes across Lucknow, throughout Uttar Pradesh and pan-India.
The trip unit is verified by secondary injection, in which calibrated current is fed directly into the release while the pickup value and operating time are measured. This confirms that the breaker will clear a fault reliably without placing the busbar at risk.
