We test and commission distribution and power transformers — every reading documented in a calibration-traceable report.
At Tajalli Tech, we provide comprehensive pre-commissioning and diagnostic testing of distribution and power transformers, designed to confirm that each unit is sound before it is placed in service. Our experienced engineers carry out the full test regime — turns-ratio (TTR), insulation resistance and polarisation index, winding resistance, magnetising current, magnetic balance, vector-group and ratio verification, tan-delta and capacitance, and SFRA to detect any winding movement following transport or a through-fault — together with oil BDV and dissolved-gas analysis. On completion we verify the protection scheme and charge the transformer on load, ensuring it is energised correctly the first time.
On completion of testing, you receive a calibration and NABL-traceable report presenting every measured value against its acceptance limit — TTR per tap, insulation resistance and polarisation index, winding resistance, tan-delta, the SFRA response, and oil BDV and dissolved-gas figures — prepared in accordance with IS 2026, IEC 60076 and IS 1866 and suitable for your records and auditors.
Turns-ratio and insulation resistance confirm the turns and insulation but not the mechanical geometry of the windings. SFRA establishes a reference signature of the winding itself, allowing any movement caused by transport or a through-fault to be identified before energisation. We undertake this testing across Lucknow, throughout Uttar Pradesh and pan-India.
Our in-house testing facilities extend to 132 kV, with HT field commissioning undertaken up to 33 kV. All instruments are calibrated and traceable, ensuring the results remain reliable under audit.
