24×7 breakdown responseAt Tajalli Tech, we provide comprehensive maintenance and testing of vacuum circuit breakers, designed to confirm that each interrupter remains capable of quenching the arc under fault conditions. The integrity of the vacuum inside the interrupter cannot be seen and is therefore central to every service we undertake. Our engineers carry out a high-voltage vacuum-integrity test across the open contacts, measure contact wipe and travel, timing and contact resistance, and service the mechanism, working throughout to the OEM tolerances and IEC 62271-100. Our experience extends from dairy plants to BHEL sites.
On completion, you receive a detailed report recording the vacuum test voltage applied and the pass or fail result, measured contact wipe and total travel checked against the manufacturer's figures, open and close timing, contact resistance in micro-ohms, and insulation resistance. The report is prepared in accordance with applicable IS/IEC standards, with any drift from OEM limits clearly identified for corrective action.
A vacuum circuit breaker that has lost its vacuum can appear entirely healthy until a fault occurs, at which point it is unable to interrupt the current.
